4 Balearic Islands - A Must Visit
Balearic Islands are a collection of a number of small islands. Over the years, they have become a famous destination spot for many across the world. Of all the islands, 4 deserve special mention for they attract the most number of visitors around the year.
IBIZA: The White Island
Ibiza came into world view during the 1960s and has found its name in some famous songs since then. The main reason why it attracts large number of tourists is the hippie culture. In the 21st century, it is regarded as a great destination spot for youngsters, adults and elderly alike; some every consider it to be a family holiday spot. The nightlife on this island starts very early and continues till dawn. Most of the time people hang around the beaches and in the center of the town which is why they always seem to be bustling.

Ibiza is inhabited by people following simple Mediterranean culture. There still exist remains from the past which are open for tourists to gaze and admire.
FORMENTERA: Paradise
This famous island is located approximately 11 miles off the south eastern coast of Ibiza. With a small surface area of 90 sq. km. it is possible to see the sea in any direction. Tourists may find the grottoes here to be very attractive, not to forget the beaches and the bays. Pines and palms can be found in plenty on the island the springtime temperatures throughout the year make this place a true heaven on earth for people longing to go on a relaxing holiday.
CABRERA: Virgin Nature
This island is located near the southern coast of Mallorca and is famous for its lonely beaches. Since 1991, it has been under the control of the ICONA which has been working towards preserving the flora and fauna of this place. The island boasts of 150 different types of birds and 450 different types of plants, a variety which is very hard to find anywhere else. On the island, tourists only have permission to visit the area of Puerto de Cabrera which although small is worth an effort.
To assist the tourists, there is a tourist information center dedicated to helping tourists plan their trip and also visit the national park. Some rules that need to be followed include not diving, plucking plants, fishing and hunting.
MENORCA: The Windy Island
The windy island as it is popularly called is just the place for tourists looking to find a good relaxation spot. In Europe, it's well-known that cheap holidays in Menorca are possible AND great! The beaches are mostly lonely and provide for ample privacy. Interiors of the island are full of roman remains giving an opportunity to know more about their rich history. All said and done, the island is Menorca is definitely different from the rest of the pack in many ways.
